Greetings to the Principals, Staff, Students and Parents of Junior Delhi School!
The purpose of education is not just to produce academicians but also to develop humane and sensitive citizens. At Junior Delhi School, we ensure that a congenial environment for learning is maintained while making sure that children have enough opportunities to develop their personal and interpersonal skills.
We pride ourselves on creating a culture of learning where students are free to express or share their interest in variety of fields while developing their character as well. Delayed gratification, integrity, civic consciousness and the willingness not to give up, these are the values that we seek to inculcate in our students. With extra-curricular classes, a strong emphasis on communication skills and activities mean to foster cultural understanding, the students of our school emerges as elucidated and responsible citizen of the world.
Aristotle once said that "Educating the mind without educating the heart is not education". Every child is like a seed which has the potential to grow if it is nourished with love and care under the right guidance. In the current challenging times it is essential that children should not only excel in academics but should also develop courtesy, discipline, smart personality, social sensitivity and be imbibed with the traditional values and culture of our country. Childhood is the best time to lay the foundation of the core values essential for the overall development of the future citizen of tomorrow. Year by year the efforts of all our staff and students have taken the school forward in terms of excellence. The school has progressed in leaps and bounds. Today we stand as one of the noted educational landmarks in the heart of Gaya. We offer our students a stress free learning environment which encourages creativity and critical thinking.
We also strongly believe that transparent communication between home and school always creates an atmosphere for promoting excellence in teaching that results in higher academic achievement, and enables children to realize their full potential.
